New Release: “Happy Endings (Aren’t for Us)” by The Cancellations

Happy Endings Aren't for Us by Nashville rock band Ellie Maybe and the Cancellations

My Nashville-based but cross-country rock band The Cancellations released our first single of 2022 yesterday! This video was an undertaking to edit but I’m super happy with how cheery it came out in comparison to how dark and depressing the lyrical content of this song is. Long live The Cancellations!

We miss you, Derek. I know you would have rocked this one with us.

Really creative name you’ve got there- Exact same name as another way more established and talented band here in Nashville.. 🙄

Yes, the name was quite creative when our late guitarist came up with it in 2017! I agree that your friends are quite talented, so I’m sure they’ll do just fine under their new name. 🙂
