Music Video: Control Me

Ellie of the Cancellations sit in front of a brightly colored mural. The image treatment is blown out and high contrast, Ellie is almost entirely black and white except for red hair. The mural is very colorful. Behind her, four of the other five members of the cancellations sprout as silhouettes. The mural can be seen through their faces. On the left, in a handwriting font, text reads "The Cancellations / Control Me"

I wrote this song in 2019 and swore it would be the last I ever thought of my manipulative, abusive, loser ex.

Unfortunately the song turned out pretty cool and I’m stuck with it.

Now I just pretend it’s the theme song to Jessica Jones season 1. Because it should have been. But I hadn’t written it yet.

Damn.
