The Cancellations are a band formed by Ellie Maybe & Joe with the late Derx Brax in the fall of 2017. Named for their rigorous practice schedule, their first live show unfortunately occurred at Derx’s celebration of life in August of 2018 with Other Joe in his place on guitar.
The Cancellations were originally based in Madison, WI, but Ellie & Joe relocated to Nashville, TN in the fall of 2018. It took a few years, but these songs are finally seeing the light of day.
